Big Dogs allowed! Pedigree and crossbreed owners Welcome.

As I spent more than a year finding the right big dog dog for me and my family I decided to create these pages. To be frank it is a minefield out there; unscrupulous breeders and poor quality pups.

The aim here is to make it easier for you to go through the process I have just been through, and help you decide on the right Big Dog for you.

I will be adding information pretty much daily so remember to bookmark.

I have owned dogs for the majority of my adult life, mainly rescue dogs and the information I share here is based on the experience I have gained over that time. 

 As I have an Irish wolfhound and I know the newfoundland breed quite well, The Big Dog Blog will probably have a bias towards those breeds for a while as I develop the site.
